The sound quality isn't the best but acceptable. What makes this release essential is just how great the performance is. I agree with Christian Burchard, this is one of the best Embryo concerts, and i still hope that the video recording of it resurfaces one day. | |||

Embryo Live in Hamburg, Schauspielhaus Malersaal 1973/11/29
Recorded by the NDR (director: Hans Sommerfeld) and broadcasted on several TV stations 1973-74.
This has been confirmed lost by the NDR, it was erased in 1977.
The only thing remaining is an audio recording made from that broadcast, which was released several times:
All releases describe it as 1973/06/29, but as the date is similar, the venue and lineup the same, i'm pretty sure that this is the same concert, and the NDR's date is correct.
