| The first Umsonst & Draußen in the Kiesgrube in Porta Westfalica, after the city council of Vlotho no longer allowed the festival there. 300 bands applied and wanted to play for free. The program became more and more extensive, the number of guests increased: between 50,000 and 80,000 guests came.

| It's unknown if there were any radio or TV broadcasts. Ulrich Wilkening again recorded the whole festival for the compilation LP.
