After a short reorganization break, the musical command then went to the rock band “Embryo”. The line-up of Roman Bunka (guitar, bass, vocals, percussion), Christian Burchard (drums, vibraphone, percussion, vocals), Dieter Miekautsch (electric piano, mellotron) and Maria Archer (vocals, percussion) played jazz-rock unlike any other in this country. Christian Burchard and Dieter Miekautsch's excellent interaction formed the rhythmic backbone. As their bass player is currently in India, Dieter Miekautsch and Roman Bunka alternated on bass. Maria Archer's vocals deserve special mention. The Indian singer immediately had the audience on her side.
